Add-on Keyboard Mods
- Lubing with Krytox205g2 on housing
- Lubing with Permatex Dielectric Grease on wires
- Balance wires to ensure that there will be no rattle.
Tape Mod: 2 layers of masking tape will be added to the back of the PCB, enhancing the sound of the keyboard by absorbing high pitched frequencies from the switches and reflecting back low pitched frequencies. This will cause the keyboard to have a 'creamy' sound profile
Polyfill Mod: Polyester fiber material is used to fill up spaces inbetween the circuit board and bottom case, to mitigate hollowness.
